Mind and body coaching.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the benefit of having an online coach?
Having a coach means you can be confident that what you are doing is taking you a step closer to your goals each day. It also provides you with accountability, which is often all we need to start new habits and create a better life for ourselves. I understand that it can feel super overwhelming when you decide you want to make a change in your life, and there are so many factors to consider. When you start with me I will be able to guide you towards your goals and break down the process to make it much more manageable. This will mean you will likely reach your goals faster than if you had tried alone. When I coach my clients, I also aim to educate them so that they learn the ‘why’ behind my methods. This means you get much more out of our time together and can continue implementing these strategies for the rest of your life.
With online coaching specifically, you are able to have direct message access to me 24/7 and we are able to work on more than just exercising in a single session. We can spend extra time focussing on lifestyle factors beyond the gym, which shapes the person you are and has impacts well beyond the way you look.
What type of equipment do I need access to?
Nothing! Personalised programming means everything is tailored exactly to your needs. I can formulate exercise that is purely based at-home and outdoors, or specifically to the equipment you have available in the gym you train at.
What if I don’t like the gym, or have never been before?
My goal as a coach is to get people moving more in a way they enjoy, and that doesn’t always mean going to the gym! It may be playing a favourite sport, spending time outdoors, or doing calisthenics at home. This means that your programming will reflect activities you enjoy and won’t necessarily include strength training.
If you have never been to the gym before, and would like to start, there are a variety of ways we can work together to build your confidence. Gym anxiety is completely normal - I still experience it today when training in a gym I have never been before. There are some great strategies that can help with this that will build your confidence over time.
How does the sign-up process work?
Once you have completed the enquiry form, I will contact you with one of your preferred times and we will book in your free consultation. Before your consultation, I will ask you to complete another form which provides me with more information on your current situation and your goals. We will get to know each other more during the consultation and I will help you download the app and get set up!
How much does it cost?
I work closely with my clients to provide bespoke advice and programming. I have a variety of packages to suit your needs and bank balance! This is something we can discuss more during your personal consultation.
How do you take payment?
Payment is taken monthly through the app using STRIPE.
Can I cancel at any time?
The cancellation policy will be made clear at the time of purchase depending on the package you purchase.
What qualifications do you have?
I hold my Level 2 Fitness Coaching, Level 3 Personal Training, Level 4 Sports Nutrition, Barbell Rehab Qualification, and British Gymnastics WAG Level 1 and 2.
Why did you want to become a personal trainer?
Growing up in my gymnastics club, Dynamo School of Gymnastics, I had the opportunity to begin coaching from a very young age. I quickly realised coaching was something that really fulfilled me, and decided to work full time as a coach before I went to university. After leaving elite gymnastics, I decided to try out strength training at my local gym which felt extremely intimidating at the time. As I gained confidence in the gym, I completed my personal training and nutrition qualifications to educate myself more.
When I moved to London for university I realised how much I missed coaching and working with people to help them achieve their goals. This is when I began working more seriously as a personal trainer and coached at CrossFit Central London. Over the years of meeting new people whilst living in different countries and cities, I have realised so many women want to begin their wellness journey but have no idea where to start. As a psychology student who loves learning and is actively involved in scientific research, I continually discover more about the symbiotic relationship between the mind and body. I want to educate women and deliver accessible information that simplifies the process of creating a lifestyle that makes them happy and healthy. As an online coach I want to show that life is much more than how you look in the mirror and ‘health’ is not what society makes it seem.
